Day 3

Wyoming started out desolate and empty and then became more and more amazing all the way to the entrance of Yellowstone. Unfortunately the road through the park is still closed so I'm back in Jackson. On the bright side I got a nice tour of the Teton's thanks to Michael, an avid fly fisher and photographer, who had some free time last night.

I walked for a long time leaving Rock Springs.

I'd walked about 7 miles before I got a ride. Longer than I ever have before .
Things were starting to look up by my second ride.
Jackson is a pretty nice town.
First good view of the Tetons.
Standing above the snake river.
