The last year had a rough patch at the start and another near the end. The months in between were really awesome. I finished out the year in Dusseldorf with friends from the US. We had a low key party and the locals put on a fantastic fireworks display. I think everyone can buy the professional grade fireworks in Germany and all our neighbors must have. Sadly our German friends were unable to make it. I'll go visit them this week though.

Happy New Year! My blog resolution is to post more pictures from Europe before I leave the continent... I've mostly just had trouble coordinating my free time and good internet access.
