Hitchhiking turns to roofing.

I left Wenatchee early Sunday morning headed for my brother's house in Oak Harbor. My first ride took me to Steven's pass which has a ski resort that was still open. It seems all the snow missing this winter in CO and WY fell in WA. From Steve's I got lucky with two rides that got me within half a mile of the house. I walked over to find a complete roof replacement in progress. Progress was slower than expected and I was ahead of schedule. After an eight hour day and two 12+ hour days I'm pretty sure it's safe to say I'm not going to make it a career. It's been kind of fun, but it will probably be two more long days of before we finish. I'm not sure either of us will have the energy to go hiking when we are done.

Pick up hitchhikers, we have cookies... Very good cookies from Steven's Pass Ski Area in Washington.
